Social Studies: Found Poem 201112

After researching the history of Native American tribes as they are forced from their lands, students create a found poem. Each student focused on a particular theme and took bits and pieces of their notes and combined them to create their poem. The aim of the project is to give students enough background knowledge about what happened to indigenous peoples in order to understand their problems in society today.
